Enchanting hotel in an ideal place. Large room, exceptionally comfortable bed and clean bathroom. We loved hot drinks at the Irish bar.
-
Hotel is fabulous and fairly clean, has good location and rooms.
-
Very good staff and location. The rooms with coffee and balcony, as for instance. The pool area is great too.
-
Everything was perfectly fine, we spent very very good time here. A comfortable bed and a well-appointed room overall. Warm and tasty choice for breakfast.
-
It was fairly clean, with good location and rooms.
-
Food and location are NICE. There were some pleasant restaurants. Balcony was a good bonus.
-
We enjoyed our stay. Comfortable place for discovering Fort Lauderdale. In addition, the private parking was on-site. Plenty of tasty food.
-
Breakfast was good not overwhelming. The room was nice and quiet.
-
We have never had such a good breakfast in any hotel in the USA, which is included in the price.
-
Very good
Rooms are very dark and need renovation
-
Very tasty and plentiful breakfast, very nice staff; rooms very spacious
Balcony very small and noisy air conditioning in the yard - also overnight. We were only 1 night guest, if we stayed longer we would have asked for another room (without loud air conditioning)
-
Good location to the port and airport. Many restaurants in the vicinity. Good service.
Simple equipment.
-
it provided the basic requirement we have when we choose to stay at embassy suites- we like the value- the breakfast- the extra sleeping space
needs more bar tenders or stations during managers reception- and better snack choices- something healthy- even veggies

The overall facilities were good.
Guest services attitude was disappointingly unfriendly when it came to problem resolution. My request for a late checkout past 11am was met with a very terse "No you cannot - other people are waiting for rooms". I looked out at the reception lobby of this 361 room hotel and it was virtually empty. Almost everyone had checked out that morning for a cruise. The rep refused to let me finish any question and abruptly ended the conversation by telling me reluctantly that i can check out at 1 pm. Later at the empty reception counter in a completely empty reception lobby, they charged me for that "free" 1 pm checkout. This required an unnecessarily confrontational conversation to clear up the mistake with another surly rep who kept quoting me the rules of Hilton Hotel. I eventually got the impression that Embassy guest services automatically expect a challenge because of their typical cruise ship crowd. So they just default to a position of aggressive defensiveness, which could be easily triggered by the most mundane request for things like...guest servicing. Go figure. Standard amenities which are included free at almost all hotels are paid services at Embassy suites and it would seem most of Hilton chain of hotels. Free Wifi was not free as advertised - even though the large print with the asterisk and the referenced microsocopic fine print on the key jacket re-stated clearly that Standard Wifi was free. The annoyed guest service rep couldn't explain the conflicting info so I avoided any further misunderstandings with guest services by using my own hotspot. Extremely high daily parking fee of $22 for guests! I changed my mind about staying another day to in order to avoid a $44 addition to my bill - just for bringing our car with us! The swimming pool was unavailable for an entire day of our overnight stay. My family was very disappointed.
